Today yet another premiere will the DO Penedes: a new, refreshing white wine from Pinord!
Actually, I could now bring back wines from the cellar, so cold it is with us again in the north has become.
War's with the spring? Bannig short this year! I say: climate change. No one knows what to expect yet.
But I believe in the good in man (oops, can believe only Ebay), I think of better weather. And am working today, as planned, with a white wine:
The Pinord of Mireia is a cuvee of Gewurztraminer, Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc, a very good mix.
In the glass it shines light to medium yellow, stained glass windows has clear, despite the low alcohol content by volume of 11.5%.
On the nose, a rather subdued aroma, it dominates the Gewurztraminer: fruit ... fruit, gooseberry, straw flowers, on the edge a little peach of Sauvignon Blanc.
The first sip: velvety, oily, slightly acid behave, but, more than for the Sauvignon Blanc bouquet suspected, fine bitter notes on the finish, from the feeling of alcoholic than the stated 11.5%, very long finish.
I can not imagine the Mireia well with tapas and poultry, but also with meat, he will cope.
All in all, yummy worth it!
