Francisco Casas - Bodegas Francisco Casas from the Toro

The winery was founded in 1890 by a bricklayer Francisco Casas. Initially the wines were vinified at his house and from there the supplies catering establishments in the area.

In 1942 his hobby a profession and the first winery in Navalcarnero (DO Vinos de Madrid) were built.

Because of the love for the wines of Toro 1965, a modern winery in Morales de Toro was built.

Meanwhile, the estate now in its fifth generation of the family Casas is run. They have fixed contracts with over 150 growers and can choose the best grapes for their wines.

The wines received top ratings from the last few years, the leading wine magazines.
